Shepards Pie

preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

3lb potatoes peeled/quartered, now i prefer yukon gold potatoes because of their reduced glycemic index. russets are as bad for your sugar spike as donuts. yukons have a medium glycemic load.

IN THE BEGINNING he filled a sauce pan with tablespoon of salt and enough water. he added the potatoes to the water and put it to the heat until the water it boiled. he cooked the potatoes for twenty minutes or until soft. he set aside some potato water from the draining of the potatoes and put them back in the sauce pan and mashed them. and he said it was good.

3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup 1/2 and 1/2
1 cup grated cheddar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
some pepper
some potato water?

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
2 carrots
2 cloves of garlic
some salt

saute briefly

1 tbsp dried parsley leaves
2 tsp rosemary
2 tsp thyme
salt/pepper
16oz steamed tempeh
1 lb beyond beef

saute until veggies are tender

1 cup vegetable broth
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp Worscthersiure sos

simmer for 10 min, fold vigorously

1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup corn

fold vigorously

PUT IN YO BIG ASS CASSEROLE DISH WITH THE POTATOES ON TOP and bake in your preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
